Northern Governors To Join APC Or Form New Party To Defeat Jonathan In 2015

Prominent Northern governors and other senior politicians in the region are set to form a new political party or join the mega party, APC, in a move to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the coming 2015 general elections...

A source who is part of the move to ensure that the region recaptures power in the 2015 general elections disclosed this to Punch in Abuja, on Friday.

The source said the formation of a new political party was one of the three options being considered by northern political leaders as politicking for the next general election gathers steam.

The source added that the region is afraid of being used again and dumped in the manner “Nuhu Ribadu was dumped by the Action Congress of Nigeria during the 2011 elections.”

The source, who pleaded anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the press, said, “The reality of our current political isolation is not lost on us here in the North.

“I believe also we have learnt a thing or two from the brand of politics which led to the set up of Nuhu Ribadu by the ACN during the 2011 elections.

“If by any chance we allow that kind of thing to happen again, then we are doomed. There are three options before us and we are considering them seriously.

One: remain in the Peoples Democratic Party where we are almost certain that President Goodluck Jonathan will impose himself on the party; for those who may have forgotten, this was done in the last Nigeria Governors’ Forum election. Don’t forget that some of the northern governors are facing expulsion threats from PDP.

Two: join the All Progressives Congress to defeat the PDP or three: float a fresh political platform altogether. For those who think the third option is a long shot, I suggest they should think again because the Congress for Progressive Change would have been the party to beat today but for some tactical blunders.

“Politics is a game of numbers; we have the numbers as well as the political sagacity to build bridges across ethnic and religious divides, we have done it before, we can do it again.”

I Warned Them To Move Yar’Adua Out Of Aso Rock, Else He Would Die ––Secrets Exposed

The late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua may not have died had the family heeded the advice to evacuate him from Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja three weeks before he died.

National Secretary, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Pastor Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, one of the four pastors who visited the Villa to pray for Yar’Adua at the height of his sickness in 2010, has disclosed.

The three other pastors were Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith World Outreach, aka Winners Chapel; Cardinal John Onaiyekan, the Catholic Bishop of Abuja; and erstwhile Aso Rock Chaplain, Prof. Yusuf Obaje. The pastors visited the seat of power for the prayer session after Yar’Adua was flown back from Saudi Arabia where he had been taken for treatment for an undisclosed illness.

The PFN National Secretary said he told the Yar’Adua family at the meeting that there was the need to take the president out of Aso Rock within three weeks to keep him alive.

According to him, however, they shunned the advice as they were afraid that President Goodluck Jonathan, then vice president, would take over (power) if they took him out of the Villa immediately.

“Of course, I was not obeyed and exactly three weeks after that visit, he died”, Kure, based in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, said in a revealing chat with Vanguard in Lagos.

Narrating what transpired at the prayer session for Yar’Adua, which he claimed lasted about 10 minutes, “sharp and straight to the point”, the PFN leader said: “When we went in there, they pulled me aside and said the reason you are here sir, go beyond that, can God show mercy? Can God change these things? It’s like deep inside of them, they felt he (Yar’Adua) might not survive. And they had the right to ask God for mercy. That was why they called in the Muslims and the Christians”.

He continued: “So I knew my own mission but I sensed things do not happen like that and I told them what would make him escape death. I told them privately. That is, me and them, it had nothing to do with the four (other pastors). My reason for being called was slightly different from the other three. I think Oyedepo was called because of the miracles (he was performing) in the Living Faith Church. We were called in because they believed we have access to God and that we could pray some effective prayers that would help the matter.

‘Not politically convenient’
“I told them the Lord said that within three weeks they should take him out of the Villa to somewhere he’d be without pressure. That was the time the polity was heating up. I told them to take him away from there (Aso Rock) because while there within those three weeks, even if as much as one mosquito bite him, he would die. I told them I saw only three weeks. So if they had taken him out within those three weeks, maybe God would have shown mercy and given him some rest and added some time to his life.

“I don’t know how much, I’m not God. I’m just an oracle who spoke for that season. And the understanding I got later, I was told they couldn’t take him out because it was not politically convenient. They were afraid that Jonathan would take over if they took him out immediately. He kept him there to ensure that Jonathan did not take over even when it was to the detriment of his health. Maybe it was a tactical move; the wife had no say in the matter”.

Captivity
Exonerating the former president’s wife, Turai, from blame over the failure to move Yar’Adua from Aso Rock as advised, Kure said, “Nigerian politicians are very complicated and sophisticated people when they know their interests are at stake; they will use you to remain relevant. They will keep you there until they get what they want. I think she was also in captivity.

“Of course she would have wanted her husband to live; she would have wanted to remain the first lady naturally. Let’s not pretend about these things. Constitutionally it was not her call; it was the politicians’ call which was what the people in the National Assembly and Nigerians were making that, `let the constitution have its way’. It was a constitutional call, it was not her call”…

.WHAT CAUSES SAGGING OF BREAST AND HOW TO PREVENT IT.

A sagging or drooping breast is a natural, inevitable process that most women experience at some points in their lives. Women tend to be bothered by this life’s normal process, because they feel it makes them unattractive. Drooping breast are said to occur with age, but a breast can actually start sagging at any age simply because they do not have muscles in them... While the causes of sagging are not known, many schools of thought attribute the cause of this phenomenon to breastfeeding. But many researches and studies have shown that this is a complete myth. Outcomes of studies and researches have found that expansion and contraction of milk glands during pregnancy and not breastfeeding is responsible.
In some cases, it even happens without pregnancy. Sagging can happen sooner than expected, except those with very small breasts. It is not uncommon to see teens with drooping breasts. Another reason breasts are thought to sag is excessive weight. Being overweight puts extra tissues on the breasts, which make them heavier and therefore sag.
Breast sagging cannot be totally prevented. Even with breast lift surgery, the results are not permanent, because the skin and the ligaments will eventually stretch. However, there are a few things you can do:
Massage Your Breasts
This may sound strange, as most people are familiar with body massage and not breast massage. But the best and easiest way to reduce the potential problems of sagging and fibro cystic lumps is to self massage your breasts at least three to five times in a week. This works in two ways. One, it releases stagnated fluids in the breast. Secondly, it helps in reshaping and lifting the breasts. For optimum results, use natural, organic breast massage oils made just for breasts.
Use Correct Bra
Correct choice of bra can help reduce incidence of breast sagging. While you are getting dressed, make sure your straps are adjusted correctly. For those that are busty, choose bras that are specially designed for large breasts. For women who do sports that involve a lot of movement, such as running or football, it is important to wear supportive sports bra.
When breasts bounce a lot during sports, it can stretch and harm the ligaments inside the breasts. Avoid going bra-less, because going without a bra for too long will further stretch the breast tissues. Bras should also be worn correctly by ensuring that the middle of the bra is centred within your body.
Maintain A Steady Weight
Adding and shedding weight causes changes in the size of breasts. Excessive weight causes the breasts to enlarge, which stretches the skin. When you shed weight, the breast skin becomes stretched, making the breast appear empty with a saggy look.
Try to maintain a stable weight by exercising and eating a balanced diet. Eating whole grains with plenty of vegetables and avoiding junk foods also helps to maintain a steady weight. One hour of walk or half an hour of aerobics everyday helps to keep the metabolism up and the weight steady.
Quit smoking (if you do)
The side effects of smoking are numerous, and breast sagging is one of them. When a person smokes, the carcinogens present in the smoke enter the body and cause elastin to break down in the body. Elastin fibres are responsible for skin suppleness; meaning the absence of these fibres causes the skin to sag. These fibres are found in breast tissues, and over time, smoking can lead to breakdown of tissues that result in sagging breasts.
Mind Your Exercise
When it comes to exercise, it may be both good and bad for the breasts. The right method can keep the breasts firm by providing better blood supply. While there are no muscles in the breast itself, it is possible to build up the underlying pectorals for a lifting effect. But exercises like running may harm. While running without proper support, the breasts bounce in a figure of eight. This causes wear and tear on the supporting ligaments.
In a research, it was found that breasts move an average of 10cms up and down, side-to-side and forwards and backwards while running. The larger the size, the greater the force on the breasts and the more they need to be restrained to avoid harm to the ligaments and connective tissue. This is why it is very important to wear a sports bra whenever you exercise.
Don't worry about breastfeeding
Women have long blamed their saggy boobs on breastfeeding.
Yet research has found that it's the expansion and contraction of the milk glands triggered by pregnancy rather than breastfeeding that causes droopiness.
Research found no difference in the degree of sagging between women who had breastfed and those who had not.

Amaechi Threatens To Dump PDP

Hours after embracing President Goodluck Jonathan at Port Harcourt Airport, Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi yesterday evening raised the stakes in the crisis rocking the state branch of the party by threatening to dump the ruling People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
He vowed to leave for any other party if PDP insists on the reversal of the suspension of Obio/Akpor local council executives as pre-condition for him to remain in the party. Amaechi said this while reacting to questions by the Bishop of the Anglican Communion, Niger Delta Diocese, Rev. Ignatius C. Kattey, at the 60th birthday thanksgiving service of the former president of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), O.C.J. Okocha (SAN) in Port Harcourt.
He said the PDP should not give him conditions over Obio/Akpor, saying that it was only the lawmakers who suspended them, or the court that could lift the suspension. The governor explained to the crowd at the service that the law that empowered the lawmakers to suspend council officials also empowered him to dissolve the executive, but said he has not done that. “If they reverse it tomorrow, there is one more option left to me, I can dissolve the entire executive.
The police can remain there as much as they want, it is Obio/Akpor people’s problem; the money is going nowhere. “But we have saved you too, because the reason they suspended the executives is because they said, ‘let us investigate the place because there was corruption.’ If they investigate and the chairman and the councillors are not corrupt, they will call them back.
But if they go to court to try to stop them, they will do their function. “I want to hear the court say they have no right to do their function. Whatever the court says is what the Rivers State Government will do.
We will obey the court, but outside that, nobody, not PDP, can give me condition. Is there only one party in Nigeria? Why would they give me condition? They will not give me condition. “I lead the people of Rivers State and I will lead you. If they suffocate us in PDP and we need to move, we move! “We will continue to struggle for our rights, and that includes our oil wells. You will hear the truth of this fight in December, January. I will address the state and I will tell you the truth of the fight.
“Not between me and these people here, they are not a problem to me. But when election comes, the Rivers people will be given the chance to choose who they want,” he said The Bishop had at the beginning of his sermon at the church service sought to confirm if Amaechi had been given the re-instatement of the suspended executives of Obio/Akpor council as condition to end the crisis, and what he Ameachi was doing about it.
Kattey also asked the embattled Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) chairman if there was really an election that returned him as the chairman of the forum, and urged him to tell the truth. Responding, Amaechi said: “I don’t lie. If I will go to hell, lie wouldn’t be one of the reasons for my going to hell. Take it from me, those who lie don’t have courage, I have them in quantum; my children have excess of courage. “Your Grace, there was an election, your Grace, they are not denying that there was no election.
They said before the election some people have signed documents for them, and they were 19, but in contesting the election, those 19 changed their minds and voted for me, and when the battle was on it was clear that it was between the ‘Villa’ and me, and I won. “There was an election and they were properly defeated and they saw the consequences of defeat.
It is a Governors’ Forum I have led for two years. Even the 16 told me ‘you were wonderful as the chairman, but you know where the pressure is coming from and we can’t avoid the pressure, I won and won well, tomorrow morning (today), I will win again.” Twenty-seven members of the Rivers State House of Assembly in April suspended the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Timothy Nsirim and his councillors for alleged financial recklessness.
Efforts by the Felix Obuah-led state PDP to force the lawmakers to re-instate the council executives failed. The national body of PDP then suspended Amaechi shortly after his victory of the NGF election – hinging the action on his refusal to recall the council executive.
Stressed, burdened with life’s difficult problems and fear that your health is declining? Then sex is the answer to happiness, longevity and a healthy body. You don’t agree?  Well, here is a list of the health benefits of sex, so do it daily to experience complete pleasure.

These are 16 reasons to have sex today! 1. De-stress Sex helps you reduce stress. When deep breathing exercises fail to de-stress you, sex will do the needful. During sex your body produces dopamine, a substance that fights stress hormones, endorphins, aka “happiness hormones” and oxytocin, a desire-enhancing hormone secreted by the pituitary gland. In a study, published in the Public Library of Science journal, three neuroscience researchers conducted a test on male rats and found that the sexually active rats were less anxious than rats with no sexual activity. 2. Great Form of Exercise Making love is a form of physical activity. During intercourse, the physiological changes in your body are consistent with a workout. You must have noticed that the respiratory rate rises, which means you get tired. Hence, you burn calories. If you have sex three times a week for 15 minutes (but we know you can do better than that) you’ll burn about 7.500 calories in a year. That’s the equivalent of jogging 75 miles! Heavy breathing raises the amount of oxygen in your cells, and the testosterone produced during sex keeps your bones and muscles strong. 3. Lowers high blood pressure Hugs and sex can improve your blood pressure. Sex reduces diastolic blood pressure, that is, the bottom number while reading blood pressure. Researchers with the University of Paisley conducted an experiment on the same. They concluded that sex improves blood pressure. 4. Builds your immunity Trying to fight the sniffles? Sex is the answer to fight cold and other health problems; sex can boost your immunity. Immunoglobulin A, an antigen that fights the flu increases when the frequency of sex increases. 5. Makes You Look Younger Making love three times a week can make you look 10 years younger, claims a Scottish researcher. “It’s good for you to have good sex,” says David Weeks, a clinical neuropsychologist at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, whose study on the effects of sex on aging appears in his book, Secrets of the Superyoung. 6. Healthy heart Sex helps you burn calories but it can also improve your heart. Sex will take care of stroke and heart attacks, you just have to enjoy the moment. Scientists with New England Research Institute examined the effect of sex on the heart. The study concluded that men are 45 percent less likely to experience cardiovascular diseases. But the study fails to study the effect of sex on a woman’s heart. 7. Pain relief Pleasure is the measure to beat out the pain. Do you experience migraines and body pain? Well sex is the answer. But if you experience back pain, it is best to consult a doctor. Dr. George E. Erlich, an arthritis specialist from Philadelphia conducted a study on the link between arthritis and sex. He narrows down that patients who engaged in sex experienced less pain. 8. Builds trust and intimacy The act of sex spikes the hormone oxytocin; this hormone is responsible for your happiness and love. If your feel your relationship is falling out, there is trust or you’re worried that your partner will stray away, then sex will dispel these doubts. The hormone oxytocin builds trust and brings couples closer, and cupid too. 9. Less chances of cancer Regular ejaculation reduces your chances of developing prostate cancer. In an Australian study men who ejaculated 21 times a month were least likely to develop cancer. It is further supported by other researches that sexual intercourse reduces the risk of prostrate cancer. 10. Stronger pelvic muscles Sex involves the use of several muscles; hence regular sexual intercourse can help you develop stronger pelvic muscles. Further, since the act of sex involves a range of muscles, it also helps strengthen these muscles – for ex: quads, your core, and the upper back. Through regular sex, you can also maintain a strong bladder and bowel function. Strong muscles, calorie burner, improves heart health – sex seems to take care of you. 11. Prostate Protection  Most of the fluid you ejaculate is secreted by the prostate gland. If you stop ejaculating, the fluid stays in the gland, which tends to swell, causing lots of problems. Regular ejaculation will wash those fluids out and ensure the well being of your prostate until old age. Problems may also occur when you suddenly change the frequency of ejaculations. 12. Induces sleep After that great, lovely workout you are bound to get good sleep. But guess what? Sex works the same way as exercise. The increased heart rate leads to increased post-coital relaxation. Sex could be the next thing for insomniacs! So what really happens: - Sex can relax you, hence if you are already tired, the act of sex will induce sleep. - When men ejaculate they become lethargic, this can make them sleepy. 13. Regular periods Apparently sex can improve your menstrual cycle. Sex regulates hormones, which in turn regulate the menstrual cycle. Sex reduces stress, which is one of the reasons women miss their periods. Sex seems like a better option than pills. 14. Prevents Erectile Dysfunctions Fifty per cent of men older than 40 suffer from erectile dysfunctions and all young men fear the moment when they won’t be able to get it up any more. The best medicine against impotence is…sex. An erection keeps the blood flowing through your penile arteries, so the tissue stays healthy. Plus, doctors compare an erection to an athletic reflex: the more you train the more capable you are to perform. 15. Live longer A healthy heart, stronger muscles, increased circulation of oxygen and happiness are some of the factors that add life to the years and as a result – years to your life. A study published in the British Medical Journal reveals that men who engaged in sex often live twice as those who rarely had any action. 16. Healthier semen If you’re trying to conceive, you increase the volume of semen if you have sex regularly. Regular sex replaces old sperms from the testicles. If there is a natural build of sperms it can lead to DNA damage.   source: http://preventdisease.com

SEE How This Banker Was arrested for stealing A Customer’s 4.7 Million Naria

A banker, identified as Robert Olusegun, was among the 3,241 suspects arrested by the Kano State Police Command between January and June this year for various criminal offences.
Police Commissioner Musa Daura addressed reportersn in Kano yesterday on the mid-year scorecard of the command yesterday, where the suspects were paraded.
He said assorted weapons were recovered from suspects.
Daura said Robert allegedly conspired with another accomplice, now at large, and attacked a customer of the bank where he worked with a pistol and a knife when the bank’s customer was on his way to deposit the money.
He said: “They (suspects) robbed him of N4,755,200. The suspects were vigorously pursued by members of the community and Robert was arrested with the money. One revolver pistol loaded with three live ammunitions and a knife were recovered from him. Investigation is on top gear to arrest the fleeing suspect.”
The police chief said in the last six months, items recovered from robbers include two AK 47 rifles, 60 rounds of live ammunitions, nine locally made pistols, 47 cartridges, huge scissors, cutlasses and house breaking implements.
He said 52 robbery cases were recorded within the period while recovered stolen property include 30 vehicles (of various brands), 98 GSM handsets, jewelry, pumping machines, electric generators, cable fuses from vandalised Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) installations, among others.

SHOCKER, SOUNDS FUNNY , STUPID AND CRAZY BUT IT'S TRUE:: Mike Adenuga Pays N200 MILLION For Burial Location

02:02

A recent update has revealed that Nigerian Billionaire, Mike Adenuga has spent a whooping N200 Million for a burial site.

The burial site, which is located at Vaults and Garden, an ultra modern cemetery in Ikoyi, Lagos is now final resting place of the rich and affluent.

According to reports, to get an average space in the cemetery would cost about N750, 000 and above. But if you would rather live an even more affluent life after death, N40 Million would get you some of the executive spots.

Report has it that even the super-rich have their own corner. Adenuga's recently deceased sister had one of these to herself. The Globacom boss paid N200 Million to secure a space for his sister. Her next door neighbor in this exclusive section is Gboyega, son of another super rich man, Otunba Adekunle Ojora and his fashionable wife, Ojuolape. Gbegi, like he was popularly known, was born in 1960 and died in 2011.

Right next to him is one of the founders of GT Bank, Tayo Aderinokun. His final resting place is not only very wondrously decorated, but also boasts of his two giant photographs, smiling on those that are still living. We were informed that Before the trio, however, is that of a true man of God, like it is dubbed inside the cemetery – the final resting place of former Redeemed Christian Church of God minister, Pastor Eskor Mfon. Born in 1953, he died in 2007.

It is quite wondrous that these rich are spending so much amount of money to get a posh burial ground, but wouldn't the money be better served on the living, perhaps, donated to a charity?

What do you think?

Culled from PMNews

Three Nigerian corps members serving at Government Comprehensive Secondary School in the oil producing state of Rivers were kidnapped early yesterday morning through Ogolokom Water Front in Abua.

The kidnapped corps members are Ugochi Martins, Lajoke Richard and Esther Nwanchukwu.

Abua is one of the four local councils that make up the Orashi region of the state. Chairmen of the councils that also include Ahoada East, Ahoada West, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni,ONELGA, early this week complained to Governor Chibuike Amaechi about the increased rate of kidnappings in the area.

Confirming the kidnap, the Rivers State Police Command Public Relations Officer,Angela Agabe,DSP, said the command has closed down three lodges being used by corps members in Abua/odual Local Govt area following the kidnap.

The police image maker also said other corps members have been relocated to Ominama corpers lodge at Abua central for safety.

DSP Angela Agabe further said security operatives have been drafted to the area and intensive search is on to rescue the innocent kidnapped NYSC members.

The Corps Members lodge closed down is located at Ogolokom, Otapha and Egbelom communities.
Earlier in the week in Port Harcourt, Chief Cassidy Ikegbidi, Chairman of Ahoada East along with his counterparts from Ahaoda West,ONELGA, decried the kidnappings and growing insecurity in the area, since the deployment of Mr Mbu Joseph Mbu as the Police Commissioner.

The council chairmen complained of increased rate of robberies and kidnapping of female Corps members who are also sexually molested while in captivity.
