How Nigerian Policemen in Lagos Show Off Their Power, Assist LASTMA in Oppressing Innocent Passengers

How Nigerian Policemen in Lagos Show Off Their Power, Assist LASTMA in Oppressing Innocent PassengersFew meters from the military cantonment near Maryland Bus stop in Lagos, policemen collaborate with Lagos State Traffic management Authority (LASTMA) officials to arbitrarily stop commercial buses and order down the passengers without giving any reason for doing so.
In this video, passengers asked to know why they are stopped. However the police, because they had no reason to give, threatened to “handle” them as a response to passengers concerns. The arbitrary policeman also threatened to take one of the resolute passengers where he ‘would not like’.
This is an example of how the Nigerian police treats citizens with a capricious show of power.
